Blog #4

George had gone to visit Thom, Alanna’s brother, at the castle because strange things were beginning to happen and people were starting to get worried. Thom was the sorcerer to raise Duke Roger from the dead because of threats from Princess Josiane about Thom not being powerful enough to cast such advanced magic. George had discovered that Thom was very warm, and he was beginning to glow. Which in sorcery is very bad because it means that you are proceeding or getting closer to death because your magic is being drained from yourself. Thom refuses to ask for the help of his previous master, Si-cham because he thinks that there would be nothing better than the masters of the Order of the Mithros seeing him caught in a giant mistake of his and unable to repair his mistake. George had passed on information about another secret meeting that was going to take place about attempting another assassination against the throne. So Prince Jonathan and Lord Provost laid their plans to catch the conspirators. They brought Duke Roger with them when they headed down the secret passageways to listen to the conspirators. They tried to trap Claw and the rest of the men, but Claw escaped and knew he was known throughout the entire kingdom by his royal name. I think it was very self-centered of Thom to believe from another that he is not powerful enough and knowing he’s made a mistake to not fix what he’s done or acknowledge that another person might be able to help undo what he’s done.
